ABANDONED. Short Stories - One has vikings/barbarians where one gets married, one is just about a couple struggling to survive, and others!

Read this back in late 2014 or early 2015, there were probably 20-30 short stories in this book. I believe the second story was about the vikings or barbarians and it was interesting because it obviously took place in the past (like 800 years ago) but they spoke in very modern phrasing. The other story I reference in the title is very short (maybe 3 pages) but was very moving because it is told from I think the husbands' point of view and they are just walking somewhere and you don't know exactly what is going on but in just a few paragraphs you realize that something terrible has happened and the wife/partner is dying and the husband is just trying to stay positive but it's obvious that the end is near.
