The good news is the rain seems to maybe be holding off. I REALLY hope it doesn't rain on us and Ruby. I want to film the entire thing. :(

I'm really glad I went fun for this now. I'm actually even considering solo as Ruby is not letting me read at all. lol.

Try reading to her. Especially close to any puppy nap time. Mine lives just cuddling and hearing the sound of my voice if I read out loud for a shot bit. Then I can just switch to regular silent reading after awhile.

Question on series BRs. If the series it is a part of is a BR but that book itself is not (like a series that has 10 books but only the first 4 are ever discussed), does that make the book available as a BR book for bandwagon or would that make it a trendsetter?

Also what about BR threads that were created but never used?

Hi Jamie, with regards to series buddy read threads, only books that have been discussed would count as having been buddy read.

So for example and have both been discussed on the group, so you could claim the +2 bandwagon bonus points for it having been buddy read before.
But hasn't been buddy read (even though there is a series thread) so you could claim the +2 trendsetter bonus points for this book.

This also means that if you are reading the 10th book of a series, but that book hasn't been read on the series buddy read thread, then you wouldn't be able to claim the +2 bonus points for the book having been buddy read in the past.

Threads that were created but never used won't count for the Bandwagon bonus points for the book having been buddy read previously, but also won't count against you when claiming Trendsetter bonus points.

So, for instance, has a buddy read thread here - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... but as no-one has actually discussed the book on there, you wouldn't be able to claim the +2 bandwagon bonus points for it having been buddy read previously.
