I'm sure Sarah will double check since I could be wrong but this book doesn't look like it fits the trendsetter <1000 ratings/shelved <3300 times nor the Bandwagon >30000 ratings/shelved>100000 times So I don't think it will get any bonus points but You could still read it for page points and BR points!

Hi Carolyn, I'm afraid Tiera is right, the book wouldn't count for bonus points as the book has been rated/author has been shelved too many times for Trendsetter bonus points, and too few times for Bandwagon bonus points. You can still claim page points though x

Sarah, I started a book a few days ago and the ratings were at around 700. Since then, they've soared to around 1,100. I didn't expect for it to jump that high so never thought to get approval. Is it possible to still claim trendsetter points? The book is question is

I'm afraid not as I haven't seen it at less than 1,000 ratings, so to be fair I can't give you it. The only thing I can suggest, is that the author is currently shelved 94,637 times, maybe if the one book is going up quite quick, maybe she'll be shelved 100,000 times by the end of the challenge? And you'll be able to use it for Bandwagon bonus points?

Sarah, if you buddy read a book this month that has previously been a buddy read prior to May, does it count for that bonus?

Yes, you don't have to be buddy reading it this month for it to count though, so if you're reading Just One Year, then that would count for the +2 bonus points for it having been buddy read previously - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... but you could claim those points whether you're buddy reading it this time, or if you're reading it on your own ☺

This book has over 5 authors. If at least one of them meets the criteria, can I use it for Trendsetter?

Hi Krystal, you can use any author of a book as long as they are an author, and not a translator, editor, illustrator etc. So for that book it would be best to go with Cassandra Clare as she has been shelved over 11 million times ☺
