mad4rombks | 11 comments Things I remember about it. (I may be confusing this with several books but I really want to try to find this one.)

1. Historical Romance.
2. Heroine’s sister is taken by hero’s brother to their castle. At the time that she’s taken, the hero is not home.
3. Heroine “steals” into the castle to rescue her sister and ends up in the hero’s room just as he comes back to the castle?
4. She tells him she’s there to rescue her sister and he doesn’t believe her, doesn’t believe his brother would be so stupid as to kidnap someone.
5. When he questions his brother and finds out he did in fact take the sister, he punches him in the face and knocks him down.
6. When they find the sister in the room, she’s ill? Slit her wrists? Did something to herself to the point that the heroine puts her hands on her and heals her wounds/illness.
7. Brother admits that he took the sister because he knew the heroine would come looking for her and she’s who he really wanted because she has “powers.” Hero is in denial that she has any powers.
8. At one point in the book, some guy, I seem to remember he’s young, gets trampled by a horse. He’s seriously injured and again, the heroine puts her hands on him and heals him. This time in front of the hero so he finally believes that she has powers.
9. The injured guy is taken into the castle to recover…I think he’s even given the hero’s room? Or the heroine’s?
10. I also remember that after he recovered, he and the sister decided to go away together while the heroine stayed with the hero because by then she loved him.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? I've been trying to locate this book for years.

mad4rombks | 11 comments No, that's not it...sadly. This one it was just the heroine and her sister. There were no other family members.

mad4rombks | 11 comments I found it! Yes....have been looking for years and I finally found it. It's Kiss Of The Moon by Lisa Jackson, first released under her other name, Susan Lynn Crose.
