I've tried so many times to find this book, coming back to it when it strikes me in a quiet moment, so far I've been unsuccessful.

It's been at least ten years, but I remember it had at least one boy and one girl (though maybe it was a group of three or four, I'm not sure.). I can't even recall what happened to them but I know that at one point the boy had antlers and was supposed to be some kind of horned god (Cernunnos?) and the girl loved math and was some kind of Fourth Dimensional being. It's infuriating to have something on the tip of my tongue for so long, so ANY information would be helpful! Thank you!
