I've been searching my mind for the tile or author of a romantic fiction novel I've read a few years back.. The novel takes place in London in the 1800s centring around a girl, I think her name was Sara, who was married to her family's enemy's heir when she was I think 4 years old. The Hero disappeared after that only to come back for his bride because of a situation which I think was to receive his inheritance or a problem with the truce between the families, but the thing is he didn't have a desire for getting her back as he believed she'd be as hateful and unattractive as the women in her family, also, he thought she was running away from him and not receiving his letters. The Heroine thinks her husband is just ignoring her and doesn't want her even when she sent out letters requesting his help to free her aunt from the clutches of her father and uncles because she's the widow of a pirate or seaman. What she doesn't know is that her husband is also a pirate and he plans to take her away from the influences of her family and have her whether she wants to or not... That are the things I remember of the storyline.. I hope you can help me find the title or author of this book because its a wonderful read and want to re-read it again!
