((Lol, sorry!! Fixed it!))
Aura speaks up. "All of you could use some more training, maybe tomorrow. Julane and Paige- faster! Carla, you need to think before acting! Em- remember to utilize your panther ability. Doyle, work on quickly morphing under pressure. And Alex, you need to react quicker, dodge the beast, react. But first," she pauses dramatically. "I have something to show you guys."

((I already read it!!! :))
"Follow me." she instructs. We all rise.
We are heading through a different doorway, so I grip Paige's arm. We are outdoors. I think in a courtyard.

((whoa... character change! [lol, cuz she was like a demanding trainer before XD]))
I feel around until my hand comes in contact with the smushy inflatable.
"Er, I think I'll pass..." I trail off. I don't know how I'll navigate blindly through a bunch of jumping people.

Aura takes my hand. "I have this amazing special course for you-" she begins, but I cut her off. I think I just snap. I hadn't gotten angry about being blind, but it had all built up, and this was the last straw.
"Will you STOP that?!" I yell. "I am perfectly fine with waiting here! Okay?! I don't care about your whatever, special course, and all! I want to be with these people? OKAY? SO JUST.... STOP!"
Everyone is dead silent. I close my unseeing eyes, and rest heavily against the inflatable. "Just..." I mutter wearily. "Sorry, just..." I sink into a sitting position, and hide my face in my hands.
Someone walks over, maybe Aura, but I say, "No, just... leave it... please."

Aura walks away, sounding angry, and I start crying, and leave. I retrace my steps to the dining room, and grab a biscuit. I walk around the house, not really knowing where I was, until I find myself outside.
Which way was the house again? I stumble around, until I feel a tree. Where am I?!
I hear someone. They are crying. I wipe away my tears and blearily call. "Who's there? Hello? I, um, I can't find my way out! I need help!"
Someone approaches.

"Thanks, Alex." I mumble. "Who was crying?"
"Huh?"
"I heard someone..." I hear it again. It sounds... like Aura.

I scream as fire rips through the forest. I feel heat, and ash rains on us.
"Aura!" Alex screams. I run blindly away from the fire, but then I realize that I am only going deeper. I scream, embers falling on me.
"You- can't-lose-control!" I get out. "Aura! Stop!"

"You- can't-lose-control!" I get out. "Aura! Stop!"
I breathe deeply. The fire is out.
"Aura?" I call softly.
"What?" I hear her snap.
"Aura!" I plead. "I was just... I couldn't keep it in! You can't blame me...! I'm sorry, alright? You are right, and I am wrong, and I was HORRIBLE person for getting mad when I HAVE TURNED BLIND!"
I breathe deeply. I don't know why I'm so mad. Maybe because she is mad.
"I'm sorry." I say quietly.

"I'm sorry." I say quietly.
I hear Paige, but I need to speak to Aura.
"You are beautiful." I whisper. "Thank you... for that. I didn't think I'd ever see again. And..." A tear drips down my cheek. "Sorry. So sorry."
"We're fine!" I call to Paige, to keep her from worrying.

"What the heck happened! I saw smoke and fire and... What happened?" I see almost everyone had been crying.
"Oh." I simply say like she just said she likes turtles. I scan the forest. "Doesn't look like you did much. Just burned down 6 trees. That forest was too big anyway." I smile casually. "Do you think its too early for an early supper?"
"Yeah.. what?" I say, a mouth full of spaghetti.
"Like, monsters and demons and weirdos oh my? Or like "I'm dangerous because I'm smart" creepy cave?" I ask, not wanting to finish the huge plate of spaghetti.
It drizzled slightly that night, so I woke up to the morning smell of fresh rain. I exit my room to see neat bags propped up in a line in the hall. Everything was still silent, so I crept out of the room so I wouldn't disturb anyone, and sneaked into the kitchen.
I nod my head, smiling. "Good morning, by the way."
The dagger was secured in its strap, and I was set to go.
I take a deep breath. "I love morning." I exhale.
(But I thought Salifia was dead?!)
(Ok.)
I hummed the "Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round" song as we bumped down the road, waiting for the doom cave to arrive.
I hummed the "Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round" song as we bumped down the road, waiting for the doom cave to arrive.
I sat the bag next to me, and played with snowflakes on my finger tips. Then Salifia said she was cold, so I stopped. Bump. Bump. Bump. The bus shook and jiggled, making my breakfast toss and turn.
(Should we skip the bus ride and go straight to the cave?)
I know Aura is watching us go. I turn around, and here the flutter of her wings.
"Aura!" I shout at the last minute. "Come with us. Please!"
"Aura!" I shout at the last minute. "Come with us. Please!"
"Why not?" I find it hard to say goodbye to this girl I've only known for a day.
"Sooooo how long until we get there?" I asked, twirling a small hankercheif in my fingers. Different shades of green.
"No," I say, hearing a scream from Aura. "What's happening?!"
Without thinking, I turned and ran in the direction of the scream, with Salifia and Indigo's heavy footsteps thuding behind me.
"Guys!" I yell. "What's happening!?"
I do my best to follow Em's footsteps. I hear a groan, and Em's voice:
"Oh. Oh no. No."
I do my best to follow Em's footsteps. I hear a groan, and Em's voice:
"Oh. Oh no. No."
"What is happening-?" I am cut off by Aura moaning in agony.
"What happened?!" I demand.
"What happened?!" I demand.
"I don't know!" I sobbed, looking wildly around at the others, searching for some explanation, something, anything...
I snarl at Doyle, imitating him meanly. "'We will'. Is that all you can say when Aura is DYING?! Aura! What were you saying? What about the dart gun? How can we help you?!"
I say to Doyle, "How about a 'are you alright?' Or maybe even a 'you will be okay'." I hiss. I don't know why I'm being so mean. I just am mad that Doyle doesn't seem to care about Aura.
I open my mouth and utter a quick "sorry" to Doyle, and look at Aura tearfully. "I... I made this happen! Will you be alright?"
"You guys... Complete quest..." She gasps.
"Aura!"
She repositions herself, and her breathing is eased again.
"I should be fine for a few hours, before the poison reaches my lungs. But after that..."

"What-? How can we help-?" The words are barely out is my mouth when I remember.
"Salifia! You eased the pain when I was blinded! Please, you weren't able to remove my blindness, but you helped so much! Please help Aura."
Salifia nods, pale, and positions her hands on Aura's back. Aura relaxes almost immediately.

"I.... Aura, you are not going to die. You are the strongest person in the world, Aura." I say, crying. Everyone is.
She nods, practically clinging to my every word.
"You. Are. Going. To. Live. And if you don't, you are going to annoy the heck out of the departed."
She smiles through her tears.

"WHAT JUST HAPPENED???" I scream, looking from Carla to Aura and back. "W-what are you? A vampire or something?!?! Look what you did! You've killed her, you've killed her!" sobbing, I stumbled over to Aura's unmoving body and collapsed beside her on the floor.
"I-I was just trying to-" Carla said, terrified. She was looking with horror at what she had done.
"No! No! NONONONONONO!" I scream, sobbing and sobbing. I don't know why I cried so much. I wasn't never even that close to Aura. Maybe because it was my first death. Maybe because even though she wasn't exactly a friend, a beautiful life had been extinguished. Maybe...maybe...
(okay, so, Alice, do you want Aura to die, or have her magically pop up and be all happy and alive?)

(((Nooooo I liked Aura!))
I stare blankly, tears dripping everywhere.
"I-" I begin, a sob edging into my voice.
"I killed someone." I whisper. "I killed someone!" I scream. "I-" I was sobbing now. "I killed someone!"

I smile sadly. "I'm sorry, but you could say that to Carla, or Em, or Paige, but not me. I was such an idiot! I think I realized it was a real dart gun, at one point, I just... It just.... Didn't process. I killed someone." I finish flatly. I sit down, my head in my hands.
"I killed someone."
"I killed someone."
A thought struck me. "Do you... Think she's trying to get Aura back?"
"I dunno...."
"She shouldn't." I say. "I loved Aura, but... It's not right. I think Aura would hate Salifia if she did that. Aura new that their are barriers in magic.... Its not right."

((I haven't..... She said she's been busy, schools started for most.....))
"How?" I say. "We aren't the most magical bunch."
"How?" I say. "We aren't the most magical bunch."
((Indigo, but Julane is fine))
step forward, next to Alex. "Aura, stop that." I say.
"No, guys, it's actually really-" she begins. The excitement in her voice sickens me.
"No." I say, tears running down my face again. "I loved Aura, we all did, but that is... No. Aura knew when not to cross the barriers of magic. Awakening the dead, I, well, I don't want to mess with fate and death, and Aura wouldn't have wanted you to..."

I suddenly looked up, wiping the tears from my face.
"Salifia... I'm sorry, but their right. The dead stay dead."
Her face fell, and when I spoke again, my voice cracked.
"I know you must blame yourself. I'm sure we all do. Indigo, poor Indigo, she was the one holding the dart gun. Carla- she nearly killed her trying to help, and Salifia... I want to tell you something."
The small nine year old girl standing before me, face fallen and tears forming at her eyes, broke my heart. But I had to, it was what was right.
"Nobody's. It wasn't any of our faults. Her death wasn't caused by Indigo any more than it was caused by me or Paige. You didn't do it. It isn't Carla's fault. It was just her time. That wound just allowed her to pass over, and... and can you see that peaceful expression? That, Salifia, isn't done with murder. She is happy to know she has friends and sisters - and brothers - to suceed her in her mission. Remember what she said? She wanted us to finish her mission, not help it. She knew it was her time already, Salifia."

"No!" I shriek, but force myself to calm down, for Aura's sake.
"Wait. I thought I was dead!" Aura says.
"Uh... You were." Alex says.
"But-? Oh. NO! Salifia! No!" Aura looks horrified.

Paige sniffs. "Okay, Indigo. When you are ready, I am. I just... well, I feel horrible how you get hurt."
