I about 77% through the novel and I am enjoying, it has another sweet main couple.
Another tidbit of info for me to look up is Black Women Suffragettes.
My only real problem is that this novel is set 15 years after Forbidden, so it is a perfect chance to catch up with Rhine and Eddy, but we no very little about the couple's relationship except of course it is loving. My main interest is why they don't seem to have a natural born children. I can see they probably view Eddy's nieces as their own children, was a it a conscious choice not to have any children or where they unable to etc. Maybe we will find out at the end of the novel?
