It's simply like that at times wth other people because they think it's great to enforce an idea already cemented in your mind-even if it hurts you more to change their view. Sadly, you're just there to take it, to make sure the next time they say it, you tell them to shut up because it's wrong and they're too blinded by their own words to see you've changed.

Now, M got out of hand. Though I don't get how she couldn't understand you had to drop off your conversation, you tell her things, right? She should understand how busy you are, and, well, I guess a few word of "sorry I'm really busy rn, please, next time M" could do at least for her. You know why M's already annoyed, let's just hope things will get better soon with you two.
