Sometimes I think that too. But you gotta set boundaries or something so people don't use you. Like, it's not being selfish when you tell someone you're busy but they still ask you for your help just because they know your kind. You're just stating your limit and their line to you.

Because I had a teacher who said helping other people without loving/caring for yourself is toxic and would not benefit you in loving yourself-that's being selfish because some people find joy in making other people happy than them in themselves

Yes, and your status update is proof of it. Look, maybe if more people could see it, all of them could argue you deserve everything, you know love and you give and share it. Your the most patient person, and, you never give up on someone. When I read that one update you made, I almost cried cause that's waht usually happens with people. They give up on people who can't seem to rise when they're blue. But you seem to never quit and continue loving those people as if you see their chance the next day.
