You can now look up books in our library using Goodreads: when viewing a book, the merest mouse-fu will show you if it's available at Mesa.
To add this feature: * Click your photo at top right; this brings up a menu. From that menu: * Click Account Settings. You may need to reenter your password to proceed. This takes you to a page with name and other info. At the top is a list of tabs: Profile, Settings, etc. On that list: * Click Book Links. This takes you to a new page. At left you'll probably have a short list including Amazon, Google Play, maybe others. At right is a very long list labeled "Popular Links". Right under that: * Next to Sort, and yes, I know this is stupid: click the popup button, make it read Popularity; then click it again, make sure it reads Alphabetical. Again, this is stupid, because that's what it started off as, but Goodreads is broken and you have to do this to get the right ordering. * Then scroll down to the bottom of this list and * Click the number 6 (six). Scroll back up a little and find Mesa Public Library, Los Alamos, NM. Click the add button right next to it. (make sure you pick the one with Los Alamos NM on it! The other Mesa libraries are in Colorado and Arizona).
If desired, click the up/down arrows under Customize My Links (at left) to place it higher/lower.
Once this is enabled:
* On desktop, from any Goodreads book page you can hover your mouse cursor over Links; a menu will pop up including our library; click that link, and a new tab will open showing that book's availability or lack thereof at Mesa. * On mobile, tap the Other Stores button, then the library link; this will open the library link using your web browser.
