What'd you read in April?!

Tonight I’m starting Five Quarters of the Orange by Joanne Harris. Still in progress is The President is Missing by Bill Clinton and James Patterson. My current audiobook is Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens. But that one is temporarily on hold as I’m currently recovering from surgery so I don’t have my daily two hour commute going to and from work.

This was a big one! I did the audio version and it was good. I just had to rewind several parts to understand it all. This one is going to be a massive and epic story. It involves Shamans and Gods and all kinds of cool but brutal stuff. I'm definitely going to READ the 2nd one.

Mortal Engines by Philip Reeve. I knowsone didn’t like it but I did - going to rent the movie this week

Before that I SLOGGED through Vicious... People have raved about this one for years and I need to read book 2 for a book club. I DON'T WANNA! It was not bad and definitely got better near the end. It just put me in a reading slump. I knew if I put this one down, I would never finish it.
