I usually manage to keep up with my reading unless I'm head deep in a series. (Like In Death all the time). But my downtown commute gives me time to read/listen to my main and other books too.
I stay at camp from as early in the spring as possible until the snow starts falling in the fall. No television and only the occasional radio when a neighbor has one, leaves me with lots of time to read. I've learned to hold my Kindle and throw a ball for Otto (my German Shepherd Dog) at the same time. I have more of a problem trying to read when I'm home for the winter, civilization interferes.
No, I haven't kept up, and I'm really bummed about it :(
I'm 4 books behind in my yearly challenge.
I haven't been able to take time off from work this summer, and there are a lot of July birthdays in the family, so lots of get togethers to take up my weekends when I could be reading.
Hope to take some time off soon!

Despite some long walks, outdoor concerts and other activities, I have kept up. I average eight books a month, and am usually 6-8 books ahead of my Goodreads goal. That cusion comes in handy for longer books and classics.
Hae been running around Spring andSummer so things are coming to an end so am getting caught up on books.
