Andrew Holleran on "Out of the Shadows"

Andrew Holleran is the author of some wonderful novels about gay men, including "Dancer from the Dance" (1977), "Nights in Aruba" (1983) and others, most of of which I've read over the years and very much appreciated. I still read his articles in "The Gay and Lesbian Review." When my current publisher sent him a bound galley proof of my new book, he responded with the following note, for which I thank him:
