In my experience, Amazon is not a reliable source for page counting, despite being on the list of acceptable sources (basically because it is the owner of Goodreads). The data of GR agree with the information offered in Worldcat about these editions. And as you can see, in the pdf that you have of the second edition that you point out, the count ends on page 716. So I see no reason to modify the data. In this case, it would be necessary to check it with the paper edition in hand.

I need to add here a few screenshots of a book I have in pdf format, the second one, and as you can see it says 716, which is the current number of the edition with the same ISBN on Goodreads. I am assuming that doesn't have any influence over this because it is the pdf, not the hardcover we're talking about, even though it has the same ISBN?
