What book am I describing challenge... Or please help me remember a title

Hi, I checked out a graphic novel at the library about 3 years ago and I really liked it but I cannot remember the title or author.
I have scant clues:
Main character was a girl who moved to take possession of her mother's house. She had a key around her neck. She worked at or frequented a movie theater. The book is for adults and the cover is black or brownish.

Not a lot to go on but I thought I'd give it a try!

Do you remember what genre? My brain wants to shout out "Locke and key" but I don't think it quite matches up

If not, "LOCKE AND KEY", is it Brian Wood and Ryan Kelly "LOCAL"? It's about a girl who carries a key and works at a movie theater. But every story moves around to different cities.
