I hope I can join. I'm still behind on Dead Souls.

I’m behind too with dead souls. But this should be a faster read. I think I can do this

It seems like a lot of chapters but each chapter is fairly short. I haven't finished Dead Souls either!

Abigail Bok (regency_reader) | 975 comments I'd love to read this and hope I can carve out the time.

Linda | 230 comments I would love to join in on this read. I’ve requested the book from the library, I’m just hoping I can make enough time for it.

One good thing- compared to some of our other books, this one is widely available in every format.

Kirsten (kmcripn) I'll try and keep up with the discussion. I just finished the book. I really enjoyed it, but had trouble with the last 50 pages.

Piyangie | 170 comments I'll be starting tonight. I've heard Howards End is called Forster's masterpiece. Looking forward to the read.

Janice (JG) I read this, and then watched the movie, several months ago. Luckily the movie stayed close to the story, because at this point I can't quite separate them in my mind. Hopefully the discussions will help me do that.

Linda | 230 comments I finally started this morning. I'm listening to the audiobook, only 30 minutes in so far, but I'm enjoying the opening chapters. I've only read one other Forster book so far, and that was A Room with a View.

A Room with a View is my favourite Forster novel. How did you like it Linda?

I liked A Room with a View too, Piyangie.
It was my favourite until I read Maurice last year. It was surprisingly sweet and a lovely read.

Linda | 230 comments Yes, I loved A Room with a View. Looking at my review I gave it 4.5 stars and after I finished it I knew it would be a book that I will revisit someday.

I was searching for Maurice after I saw you recommending it in another group, Rosemarie. Unfortunately I cannot find it in my online reading site or my local book stores. Looks like I'll have to order it from elsewhere. I really do want to read it.

I plan to visit it again too. It is such a lovely book.
