Sir Gawain and the Green Knight

Most versions of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight has author as ”unknown”. Normally he/she is commonly refereed to as “The Gawain Poet” see for instance https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gawain_...

Several different 14th-century Middle English poems is ascribed to this author. I think it would be better to have the author name “The Gawain Poet” or “Gawain Poet”, so you can see other works by the same author and so they do not just disappear in the vast amount of “unknown”

In any case a good deal of cleaning up is needed. Searching for Sir Gawain and the Green Knight

you see a large amount of different translations, many with the translator as primary author.

Also notice alternative spelling:
