Synopsis:
Who says fairy tales don't scorch?
While packing her mother’s possessions, new orphan Cady Bastion finds the book her mother used to read every night; only, its pages are empty. As mysterious as this strange book is a coded letter from her mother that begs Cady to protect her twin brother, Koden.
That might be impossible. Cady’s family has long suffered from a curse that says one of every set of twins will be evil. Cady has always known she is the evil twin and may well be the biggest threat to Koden’s life.
