When Timothy McDougal’s body is discovered, Maura determines the murders might be connected and based on religious iconography. Were you familiar at all with any of these saints and the manner of their deaths?

Melissa (melissasd) | 194 comments I am not and was surprised that Maura knew so much. This story did peak and interest in me though.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments I don't know that much about the saints and the iconography, so that was very interesting. I did guess that Sarah was Joan of Arc though (one of the few I do know).

I know zip about Catholic religious icons and saints. But, I should have guessed Sarah. Joan of Arc is one of the few I know.

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments It was all new to me. Good thing I wasn't investigating or we would still be wondering what the connection was. I read at lunch time. When I was at work, I asked an employee who works for me if she knew the saints, etc. She rattled off several of them and how they were killed. I guess being Catholic would help with this information.

Wow! I should ask my hubby. He was raised Catholic and studied Catholicism for years.
