I haven't used the giveaway feature since it was modified from free to paid and I want to make sure I'm fully understanding all the features before I decide which level I'd like to purchase. On the premium giveaway, it states that non-winners receive a customizable message.
1. Is that message in the form of a notification on the Goodreads site or is that an email message? 2. If that message is in the form of a notification on the Goodreads site, what if the user has their notifications disabled? Would they still receive that message?
So the giveaway thing is no longer free? I'm not surprised. They've been pushing that promotional pipe dream for a long time now. Little like the literary version of winning the lottery, but by all means go for it if you got the bucks. There is a reason there are no organized or openly reported stats as to the actual success rate of this means of getting book sales.

Thanks!
