Beta Reader Wanted

Hello,

I am looking for a beta reader to read either (or both!) of my completed manuscripts. While, I understand you wish to get paid for your work, I simply cannot afford to pay some of the prices offered for beta reading work, i.e $1 for 1,000 words. As a working father, money is tight in my family, and I will only be able to afford a flat price of $20 or less. If you are willing to beta read for this price please let me know.

As I said before, I have two stories that I would love to be beta read, here are the details for both:

One is about a black woman down on her luck stealing a date lottery ticket and going on a dream date with an Indian lawyer, who has secrets of his own. While their love is instant, their secrets challenge their relationship through out the story. This story is 70k words long and has been edited and beta read fours times.

The second story is about an Chinese woman taking a nanny position to financial support her father who has Alzheimer’s. Little does she know her position is to take care of the son of an angry widowed alcoholic hedge fund manager. He’s a brute at first, but overtime they create a romantic bond. This story is similar to Beauty and the Beast. This story is 68k words and has not been edited or read at all.
