What do you think about this book?

I really love reading this book and I think this is a good book for java.

I enjoyed it. The ending was very formulaic but the first 2/3 of the book was decent enough. Diversity in the setting and the situation helps: liferaft floating in the Andaman Sea (or somewhere) and only a few people in the cast.

I wouldn't ever go back and read it again; but its worthwhile just to see what MaClean's writing was like in his earliest efforts. Not as bad as some of the others, that's for sure.
