Hi Kylie! Good to have you here and love hearing about mums spreading the book love to their kids.

Kia ora. I'm Rebekah - I'm a Mum of two preschoolers, a journalist and I also review for NZBooklovers. I've always loved YA and even more so if it's Kiwi. There's something special about seeing ourselves reflected back in a book. I'm super lucky to have a job where reading is an absolute requirement. Excited to see this space grow.
Hey! I'm Shar and I'm 19. I'm originally from the Waikato but have sinced moved to Palmerston North where I am currently studying at Massey University and majoring in Creative Writing.
Kia Ora. I’m Michelle, 24 years old and I am a primary school teacher in Auckland. I have a life long love of reading and I love to share this with others around me, incl my students 😊
Kia Ora! I’m Vicki - living in the mighty Waikato with my husband and furry and feathered friends! I love most genres including YA and am looking forward to getting to know you as we travel along here together 💕
Hi! I'm Rebekka, I'm 25 and I'm a software developer in Hamilton. And because I'm a massive Harry Potter fan, and this is a book group, I feel it makes sense to say I'm a Ravenclaw too!Along with YA, I love crime, chick lit, the odd bit of non-fiction and comics/graphic novels too. I'm super excited for Turning Pages because I love YA, and it's what I read when I need to escape from reality, so I'm excited to have a place to talk about it with like-minded bookworms!
Aside from reading, my hobbies are crafting, baking and playing with my adorable fluffball of a Puppy.
Hiya! I’m Sophie, a 24 year old graphic designer from Wellington. When I’m not at work I’m usually doing one of my many side projects; blogging over at sofilly.com, hosting a podcast Rants and Reviews, or doing hand lettering for @sofillyletters on Instagram.
When I’m not doing any of that I’m all about the books! While I may not be classed as a young adult (what’s the cut of these days??) it’s still the genre I read most followed by fantasy and a cheeky romance or two.
Greetings, fellow bibliophiles!I'm Anjali; blogger (This Splendid Shambles blog), writer, podcaster (Rants and Reviews with Sophie), photographer, traveller, Huffledor-Gryffinpuff (long story), and of course, reader.
I mostly read YA, but also love fantasy. Lately I've been getting into comics and graphic novels too, so if you have any suggestions ... !
Hi I'm Carol, power house reader & hopeless Goodreads addict.I'm a lover of NZ books. I would love to read some Kiwi YA - I also have a weakness for American High School YA.
Hey everyone! I'm Mon, 29 and from Auckland. I've just recently started dedicating time to reading again after full-time adulting took over my life and am super excited to dive back into some YA! Can't wait to discuss books with you all :)
Hey! I'm Shardae, 18, and I live on the West Coast of the South Island! I'm currently just looking for work and then will hopefully be joining a Wedding Planning/Styling course next year! I'm a Ravenpuff
Hi! I’m Jess and I came across this group on my bookish instagram and man am I glad! I’m from the UK originally but now reside in Auckland and I genuinely love this country so much! My fave genre is, of course, YA but I especially love all things fantasy and sci-fi. Books make me feel like I’m at home anywhere and genuinely inspired me to start this Kiwi adventure in the first place! I loved all of the superproof peaks in the turning pages box and can’t wait to read them all as they are released ☺️
Hello! I am very new to Goodreads and discovered this community just recently. It looked like my kind of discussion group, and I was wanting to know if we can still join even if we are from another country?

I read fairly widely, but have a soft spot for YA, paranormal romance, fantasy and crime/thrillers. Also travel writing/memoirs, cookbooks, old books..yeah, I'm just going to stop now!

Hi readers! My name is Kelly and I'm Australian living in Australia, I hope that won't be held against me. I've been blogging for over six years on my blog Diva Booknerd and also run the AusYABloggers group, which supports young adult bloggers and readers from Australia and New Zealand. I love meeting new readers from around our region so don't be shy, please say hello or give me a shout on Twitter where I usually hang out pretending to be one of the cool kids.

Hi everyone! My names Hayley and I am a book lover from New Zealand!
I read a lot of YA and am always on the lookout for my next favourite book! I write a blog called 'Not Just a Pretty Face' where I review books, write essay type posts, travel and beauty content.
I would love to have the opportunity to review books, and I have always wanted to publish one of my own so getting my writing up to scratch, and being able to read a hell of a lot to be able to become the best writer I can is important to me!
Can't wait to have some great discussions within this community! x
Hey everyone, I just found this group! I’m Cas, a high schooler in Dunedin :) when not overloaded with assignments you can find me over at https://daydreamingink.wordpress.com. I’m looking forward to being part of this group!

And would love to find out a bit more about others in the group?
I am a kiwi mum to 4, my eldest is 11 (nearly 12) and youngest is 1. I am raising book loving children - and I am so pleased at this! Getting lost in the pages of a book is a magical thing.
I have been reading YA for a few years, but now that my tweenager is reading YA it makes it that bit more exciting as we can discuss together! I only wish that there was more of this genre when I was that age, instead I was sneaking into my mums book case and reading Danielle Steel!
Looking forward to finding out more about Turning Pages, the discussions, new books and hopefully some read alongs. I have recently found a library book club for myself, and my 11 and 10 year olds are desperate to go along to one, so a virtual book club that all 3 of us can read together would be amazing!
