The Stranger Diaries question

Hmm, that's a good question. I read this about a month ago (& loved it!) but I don't particularly recall there being parallels. The excerpts of the short story added a lot of suspense, but that seems to have been all that I took from it, other than characters dying, and Clare's co-workers dying. I'm interested to see if you think of any parallels! I'll be thinking about it...
