The second series of twilight starts of with the happy couple getting ready to celebrate Bella's birthday,3 days later Edward suddenly tells Bella they the cullens (including him need to leave). She becomes depressed but her friend jacob helps. Jacob avoids her but later finds out its because hes a werewolf. Alice suddenly comes and her and Bella go save Edward.
I think that bella is a static character, because she overall stays the same. At the beginning of the book she is happy with edward then he leaves and she is obviously heart broken. Jacob helps her alot but soon he dose the same and she finds out it was because he couldn't tell her he was a werewolf she needed to find out for herself. Through the story after that she learns how the world is for different people aside from the Cullens. She still every now and then will feel that hole in her chest from Edward but chooses to try and forget it. Edward calls after Alice sees something and Jacobs was at Bella’s house and answered it Edward lies and said he was carlisle so Jacob didn’t know but when Edward asks for Charlie he says that he’s attending a funeral which makes Edward think Bella dead so she finds out he’s gonna try to kill himself through the volturi and Bella rushes to save him. He almost reached the sun but she gets to him just before he’s out. At home things are pretty normal for Bella she’s deeply in love with Edward again so I believe that overall she went through some stuff throughout the book at the end she was still the same Bella.
I really liked this book. I loved how detailed they made the characters and just everything really. I liked that they really focused on how Bella was feeling about everything, like how she would talk about the “hole in her chest” and that Jacob would fill them in just a little. I liked they described her and Jacobs relationship but never let us readers forget that she would always deep down be so in love with Edward. Just overall I really loved this book and definitely recommend it. It's just so interesting i felt like i never got bored or sick of the book i was always wanting to keep reading and know what was gonna happen next.
