Wow! That is so interesting! I agree with her - that the story is tailor-made for an opera - and I like her take on the feminist/misogynist aspect to the storyline. I just hope the music lives up to everything she's said. If you see any reviews, please let me know (here is fine). It's funny the coincidence that we were just talking about Emily Watson and the original film. I've finished watching the 5 episodes of "Chernobyl" and it has confirmed for me that Stellan Skarsgård is my favourite actor going round today. I loved his role in "River" and I had almost forgotten he was Jan in Breaking The Waves. It must have been interesting for them working together again after 23 years.
