I've read 3 of her books, of the 3 this one was my favorite
and here are the other 2 I've read
, I like that she tackles difficult subjects, whether it be unusual occupations for women , addiction, prejudice. Until the dawn I liked because she was a cook, and her cooking was so descriptive it always left me having to search out my kitchen for something like what she fixed lol. They weren't to preachy thankfully.

It dealt w/ exposing corruption. The Whirlwind one had a woman take over her late father's custom made watch co.

preachy. She knows her history too. Her heroines have atypical
vocations or avocations.
