After putting this one down for a while, i finally picked it back up today! I'm around 30-40% now, so I'll probably be finishing in april

I finished this a few days ago but I haven't had time to post. This week has been a little crazy. That it fine. I thought this was a strange time for this book in the series. I can glad that we finally find out about what happened (view spoiler)[ to Maria. Hopefully Alex can actually find someone to be with, and maybe this is what the author was waiting for. I was surprised that John had Alex working on this case thinking he was chasing Maria's killer and knowing that he already took care of it. That was a good surprise though and maybe there will be a little closure for the entire family. Little Alex makes me laugh in this book, especially about the car shopping. It will be interesting to see where the next book goes, as Alex is no longer in law enforcement but only seems to consult on these cases. (hide spoiler)]
