I have a very bad problem, it's called the EIT disorder. I can't think of anything else, I don't want to read anything else, and I know when it's over I'm going to be crushed. But it's a bittersweet torture and I'm loving every second of it.

If you're debating on reading these books, stop what you're doing and get to downloading them. There are only a handful of times that I can think of where a book had such an impact that it changes you somewhat and all of these are doing this. The dynamics between Dex and Perry are unbelievable and I will never get enough of these two. Mrs. halle is a gifted author and these books leave me speechless.

message 259: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments Do!!!! They are sooooo good, the first one has been free for awhile now. Book 1 was really good but book 2 turned me into an all out obsessed loon lol.

message 260: by VNerdbooks (new)

VNerdbooks (v_nerdbooks) | 5307 comments okay you've talked me into it lol. added to my growing TBR pile, sins and needles is also on that pile from that author.

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments Just to let you know how bad this is, I read Darkhouse (Experiment in Terror, #1) by Karina Halle on 9/21 I've read up to book 6 since. Well I'm reading the 5.5 today and starting 6 tonight. I never ever just read a series back to back. For me to even read 2 from the same series in a month is unusual. When I'm not reading them they're all I can think about it's crazy....

Review

This book is dressed up as The Hunger Games meets X-Men and I was like ooohhhh I'm having me some off that.........

Yeah well it was.......sort of.......near the end......A bit.

A couple of years after a terrorist attack in London, nobody goes in or out.........except those who already live there, some of them have developed powers.

Jack and his little sister haven't seen their parents since the attack, they think they are dead, however a photo that they see proves that their mother is still alive and living in central London.

With the help of some of their friends they embark on a dangerous journey into the centre of a broken city with many perils, including wild dogs, snakes and aligators, maybe lions and other animals escaped from the zoo ........oh and the choppers! !!!

An ok read but not sure whether I'm excited to finish the series or not 3☆

Greta Spot 57, 5th in Series

Book Read: The White Princess (The Cousins' War, #5) by Philippa Gregory
Rating: ★★★★★

Review: I have thoroughly enjoyed all the books in this series so far, this book included. I think Philippa does a great job with her characters and their stories given sometimes limited historical information. I thought this was a particularly sad story with no real love between the main characters and very sad historical facts but I still loved it!

Review I truly enjoyed this book. It took a bit to get into it since it started out a little confusing. Each chapter switches to a different character POV. Once you get into it a bit the story begins to gel. It was a very quick read. A cute little family story with a few surprises. Highly recommended.

Joni | 89 comments Sorry that took so long. I loved it Vicci. I finished it Monday but have been so crazy busy this week that this has been my first chance to do a review.

Michelle (michelle_mc) Spot: 57

Marked (Dark Protectors, #7) by Rebecca Zanetti
Read: 15/10/14
Rated: 5 Stars

My Review:

I have been waiting for Janie's book since the beginning, the little dream triangle she had going on with both boys throughout the series and through the time jumps had me so curious. Many theories I had were proven correct and Rebecca surprised me in a couple of ways. All the plot holes were ended to my satisfaction and it was a damn good book! I loved the journey and I am looking forward to the spin-off's. Absolutely loved it! Wish I could award it more than 5 stars.

Michelle (michelle_mc) That's some amount of reading, Jenne. I thought I would be the same this week but with the kids and hubby home I have barely had time to read. I was full of good intentions too. I'm not fussed on what we roll, haven't had a chance to research the possibilities.
