Alicia's diaries are interesting. She really loved her husband. Wonder what drove her to murder him. She flips out anyone mentions it too.

Idk if the art therapy will get her talking but I think it will give hints and clues as to what her deal is (hide spoiler)]
Part 2 Ch 27

Chapter 14
So far so good! I never thought I could ever read such books. I don't like reading or watching movies with mental hospitals in it. Don't know why, those sites make me feel depressed for the whole day.

But in this book there are not many things I was afraid of.
Actually opposite, there is something I really enjoy - a good mystery. which keeps you alert and wanting to read more and more to discover the secret.
I like all the story lines, but I feel there is something terrible yet to happen with both the doctor and his gorgeous wife and the patient. I have some ideas, let's see if I was right. For now I think that the doctor will go insane after discovering her secret. Though I don't think he'll kill his wife, but maybe they will break up.
And I feel there is something-something with this guy from Latvia.

I think Theo is so obsessed with treating Alicia because he feels that they have lots in common. He even tries to treat her as if she had the same issues as he had when he was younger.
Maybe he also hopes to solve his problems while treating Alicia... Who knows? So there is not much revealed at this point.

(view spoiler)[ Actually, after reading JUST ONE more chapter into the next section, I think Theo is involved...and Krystal, I think when you said the word "obsessive," that's what made it click for me. He's the only one that seems obsessive enough to be involved somehow and just too interested in helping her. (hide spoiler)]

Finished- (view spoiler)[ I liked it, but I think I went into this looking for the big plot twist, so I wasn't as blown away by the ending as some people were. I had friends that said, "just wait for the ending..." and that combined with Theo's obsessive qualities made it pretty clear he was involved. But again, I went in looking for the plot twists because of things my friends said. Not spoilers, but just enough for me to be looking for things that I wouldn't have been looking for if they wouldn't have said anything at all.

And when Alicia said she was being followed and stalked, I knew it was Theo. I didn't know he would try to murder her in the end though, so that was at least a small plot twist I didn't see coming.

I don't read thrillers, but I really enjoyed this book and would try even more in this genre and more by this author! (hide spoiler)]

My main theory was a bit more twisted. Somewhat like Theo was actually a person, suffering from some kind of mental illness, obsessed with his wife, and Alicia was his doctor. But when I read about 60% of a book, I realised I was wrong.

I read thrillers and enjoy them but I rarely seem to get the 'answers' before the end. That's on me usually but that's why I like reading them because it's always such a surprise for me. This book was just okay. Not bad. Not fantastic.
