We have had trouble with people soliciting reviews for their websites in the past, just to get content.

Please could you let us know here what proportion of your book reviews are of middle grade/childrens books.

Who is the target audience for your digital edition?

Author members: there are several sites which offer paid reviews. Make sure you are happy that you get value for your money if you choose this option.

Justine Laismith (justinelaismith) | 348 comments I hope I'm posting in the correct place. From what I've gathered, getting reviews is hard and Netgalley is a good place to list your new books to get reviewers.

Personally I find out about new books through book bloggers and a lot of them get their review copies from Netgalley. However it is expensive for indie authors ($450 per book for a six month listing). Saying that, my indie publisher has established a NetGalley co-op program. For $55 a month, members will gain access to NetGalley and receive promotional support from them. I thought this is a good idea as $55 per money is more reasonable and you can choose how long you want to be in it.
