Do you remember whether the book told the story from the orcas' point of view or a human point of view?

Human narrator, but don't remember any people, Pretty sure it was a one or 2 word title

I do remember a youngster of the Pod getting lost under ice omygosh! not happy and only one stays behind, to listen til the crying stops
