February Reading Assignment

This is an amazing book, people have always told me to read it and this time I did and honestly loved it. I give this book a 5 our of 5 because it is very well written, has emotion, and it is a very good story overall. This book is about two kids growing up with a father that is a lawyer for African Americans. When the father takes a case where it is clearly shown that the man that the father is defending is innocent, but because he is black he is pleaded guilty and this is very confusing for the kids because they see the whole thing play out, and they also learn about racism.
