SOLVED. Contemporary Romance, h is attacked by H ex and miscarries in bathroom

Hoping someone can help me remember the name of this book, I think I read it around 2014/15/16
I want to say that h moves across the country, and stays with someone I can’t say who and the H also lives there possibly he owns house? The part I actually remember is later in the book the h is pregnant and is attacked by possibly H ex? I think h and her friend were in the house and both were attacked, I believe h miscarried while in bathroom, I’m fairly certain there was a series of books weather it was a book for separate characters or not I can’t say, I also remember there being a party at the house (I’m assuming early on in book) because the H sees h and I don’t think he knows she’s staying there or something along those lines
