Werner | 2272 comments For all of you authors in our group who are also bloggers, this will be the thread where you can let us know about your blog, and post a link. You can also share updates about your current posts. We'd be glad to hear from you!

I've just edited this comment to add this material: If you're a Goodreads Author, you can link your blog to your profile here, so the current entry will show, and there will be a link to the older ones. I've never done it myself (I don't have a blog); but if you go to your Author Dashboard (the second option on the pull-down menu when you click on the little circle on your Goodreads toolbar with your picture in it), you can scroll down to a "Your blog" link. When you click on that, one of the options you'll see is "sync with a pre-existing blog." [This added material also appears in a comment I just posted below (message 22); but I thought it might be more visible, and so helpful to more writers, if I also put it here!]

Werner | 2272 comments James [D. Sanderson] wrote (on another thread):

How do ordinary citizens know when the nation in which they reside is headed into darkness? Joseph Conrad's 'Heart of Darkness' does not lend itself directly to such a question, of course, - it is concerned with the individual human - Kurtz. But there is the notion that, "All Europe contributed to the making of Kurtz." Kurtz, of course, is the central character, the monster, at the center of this work. He is the one who, "lacked restraint in the gratification of his various lusts..." The one who cried out twice with his last breath, "The horror! The horror!" So at very least we are forced to question as individuals: "will we, if left unchecked, bend toward horror in every instance?"

My suggestion would be to join the Goodreads Feedback group (https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/... ), if you don't belong already, and report the problem in the Bugs folder: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group... . The Goodreads management watches posts in that group pretty carefully, and they do have a good track record of dealing with specific glitches that are reported.

James Callen | 2 comments Hello brothers and sisters in Christ.

My names is James Callen. Foremost, I am a follower of Jesus Christ.

In Christ's grace and enabling, I have become a Christian author, Bible teacher, and Christian blogger. My blog site is http://toliveischrist.com

I post informative Bible Study lessons. Too, I am now interested in hosting Bible Study posts (upon approval at my discretion) from guest authors/bloggers who may be interested. If you are may be interested, first check out the "biblical beliefs" page on my website. If you are in agreement with these core beliefs and interested in possibly submitting an original post, send me an email at mail@toliveischrist.com.

Joy Kieffer (joykieffer) | 2 comments I do have a website where I blog, although not too much lately, as I'm running a food pantry during a pandemic. But since my books are being published to give me the flexibility for ministry, it has to be okay. (I keep telling myself that.)

While my books are journals ~ gardening journals and student planners ~ my main blog is about seeing God in his creation and in the details of life. But I've figured out a way to separate a blog into categories, so it looks like several blogs. If you only want to see posts about garden tips, or creativity or Glimpses of Joy, you can click on just that.

My website is https://www.joykieffer.com/

Werner | 2272 comments Joey, the link in your post above works. But when I went to your author profile and accessed your blog from there, on the most recent post that they have ("Thankful People Are Beautiful People") the "Read more on Joey's website " link doesn't work. You might want to look into that!
