8. How would you rate this book? Did it make sense to you and left you feeling encouraged?

Chelsea | 562 comments I gave it 2 stars. Too many characters to keep track of and more of a speed bump in plot (not a lot of climax to get to.)

Chelsea | 562 comments Also random note... The May book is Where the Crawdads Sing. It's a pretty popular book right now (my library has 4 copies and they are all checked out.) So getting on the hold list early wouldn't hurt.

Speaking of that, Educated for next month is also pretty popular. I've had 1 hold wait for it. So it might be best not to wait last minute to get a copy.

I loved our book for this month. I gave it 5 stars when I read it the first 2 or 3 times many years ago. It really touched my mother and an aunt mine, two women I greatly admire. They shared some of the joy they got from reading these books so I hopped on board and really loved them and became very touched.

Pam | 218 comments 3 stars for me.

Barb (deckerbunch) | 227 comments As it stands right now, I'd give it 3 stars. I started listening to the audio version of the book part way through because I could see I wouldn't get it finished in time otherwise. I fell asleep and missed quite a bit and didn't go back and replay that part because we were nearing the deadline. I don't think I can farely rate it until I actually go back and reread what I slept through.

Cindy | 522 comments I would give it 4 stars. I thought it was funny and uplifting. As I stated on an earlier answer, I agree about it having too many characters.
