Short version of a long story: I'm reissuing my first three Howard County Mystery novels with new covers and some textual corrections. Alas, I still have some print copies of the original editions on hand. So I'm selling them off for cheap. I could use your help in two ways.
1. Do you know of anyplace similar to BargainBooksy for print books? The promotional sites/lists I've found so far only deal in ebooks.
2. Would you like a cheap book? ;-) All three are on sale for $5.95 (regular $12.95) at https://www.serpentcliff.com. Descriptions follow. If you pick up a copy (print or ebook) and like it, could you help me spread the word about the print book deal? Thank you!
HCM #1: The Fibonacci Murders (18 copies left) Howard County, Maryland Detective Lieutenant Rick Peller and his proteges Detective Sergeants Corina Montufar and Eric Dumas pursue a killer basing murders on the Fibonacci series, a mathematical sequence in which each number is the sum of the preceding two.
HCM #2: True Death (2 copies left) When Detective Sergeants Corina Montufar and Eric Dumas uncover an auto theft ring, Detective Lieutenant Rick Peller is forced to revisit the unsolved death of his wife in a hit-and-run four years before. Was it accident, or murder?
HCM #3: Ice on the Bay (Well over 100 copies left; I'd really like to liquidate this one!) During one of the coldest winters on record, Rick Peller, Corina Montufar, and Eric Dumas investigate three seemingly unrelated crimes: a two-year-old disappearance, a series of arsons, and the murder of a small-time criminal with a long list of enemies. As temperatures plummet, a cold-hearted killer watches and waits.
I don't have a lot of reviews, but most of them have been positive. Reviewer Diane James said of Ice on the Bay:
"...a cracking crime suspense novel with enough twists and turns to make a belly dancer faint. Definitely recommended."
