I managed to read two of my books this month. I enjoyed The Dressmaker very much, particularly since it didn't quite go where I though it would. The Titanic experience is only part of the plot but it's after effects linger in the life of the main character. Very well done. Five stars.A Charmed Life: Growing Up in Macbeth's Castle was a quick read, but I'm a little more ambivalent about it. I actually wrote a review of it on its page because it was really a bit fluffy for the memoir of a daughter of an alcoholic aristocrat. I think that more went on in her life than she's willing to reveal. Three stars because she writes well.

I wanted to recommend you Nos4a2, but I don't know what kind of horror you like. So I picked instead The Foxhole court, which is M/M. Haven't read it, but I am interested in it.
