I managed to read two of my books this month. I enjoyed The Dressmaker very much, particularly since it didn't quite go where I though it would. The Titanic experience is only part of the plot but it's after effects linger in the life of the main character. Very well done. Five stars.

A Charmed Life: Growing Up in Macbeth's Castle was a quick read, but I'm a little more ambivalent about it. I actually wrote a review of it on its page because it was really a bit fluffy for the memoir of a daughter of an alcoholic aristocrat. I think that more went on in her life than she's willing to reveal. Three stars because she writes well.
