Which characters did you dislike at first, only to later come to appreciate or at least understand them? What characters in the book react that way to someone new?

Chelsea | 562 comments I can't think of anyone I disliked at first... I feel a lot were blank faces with a name I tried to connect it with, but as the book went on the characters developed for me more into people with personalities I could expect and love. For instance... I love his secretary Emma (or at least Tim's thoughts in his head regarding her), and Puny. Apparently Miss Rose is still a blank face that never connected.... :/

Cindy | 522 comments My main criticism of this series is that there were too many characters! It wasn't bad in this one, but every book added several new characters and kept most of those from the previous books and I finally had to give up. I seem to remember I liked most of these characters fairly well.

As the series develops boy are you right. One can keep track of all the many people there are to keep them straight. When I asked the question, was curious if was anyone you didn't like. Am thinking that it's the people and the quantity of them that make it difficult. Sorry!!!

Pam | 218 comments No dislikes, but agree - a lot of characters.

Barb (deckerbunch) | 227 comments I agree. There wasn't anyone I really disliked, either. I also had a hard time keeping track of who was who because of the characters. For a small town and a small neighborhood, there seemed to multitudes of characters.
