Oh, I didn’t see where you listed it, I’m sorry! But yeah, whatever you want to do is good with me! ;p

I haven’t really had a chance to go through & see what all I can read for. I’ll probably just try to squeeze my books in where I can. I have a buddy read planned for Thunderhead & another for The Serpent King. Then I don’t know what else I’ll be reading yet!

Please note that we have made a slight change to one of the descriptions -
38. The Goblin King warns Hoggle that if he disobeys, he'll drop him into the Bog of Eternal Stench, and he'll do the same if Sarah ever kisses him.
- No kissing allowed! Read a book which is not tagged 'romance' (at all).
EDIT: As long as your book is not tagged 'romance' on the first 10 pages of tags, we will count it ☺

[[ Frankie ]] (freedbyfiction) | 474 comments Sure! Fine by me! Most of the time I probably won’t know what my books will fit till the last minute... I’m pretty flighty with my book choices. LOL. Hopefully playing it by ear will work out fine, too. On my end, anyway. ;p

message 23: by Morgan (last edited Feb 26, 2019 05:40PM) (new)

Morgan (futuremiddlelibrary) | 111 comments March is a busy month for me ( a first grade teacher) so I going to stick with four books (for now, it always changes)

Here are the numbers I can complete:
8. City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1) by Cassandra Clare
49. Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon
52. Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1) by Sarah J. Maas
16. Children of Blood and Bone (Legacy of Orïsha, #1) by Tomi Adeyemi

Katie_Potatie | 80 comments Hello everyone.

Here are my plans for the challenge

10 - The Keeper of Lost Things (13 letters and bonus points read it before 13:00 Goodreads time on March 1st)
20 - Matched (read in 9 hours and 23 minutes)
29 - Three Wishes (read a book with item of food bonus if cake)
55 - Exit, Pursued by a Bear (book with A X and E in title/author's name)
63 - Half a King (Read a book with N E A R or F A R in title/author's name bonus read a book with all letters)
65 - The Rosie Project (read a romance book)
68 - The Great Zoo of China (something that flies on cover)
70 - Winter (last full book in series)

What challenge does Thunderhead fall under for this month? because I will be participating in that :D

message 25: by [[ Frankie ]] (new)

[[ Frankie ]] (freedbyfiction) | 474 comments I would have to double check, but I’m not sure that it necessarily does fall under any specific task. I believe we still get points for pages of books we read that don’t fit any tasks. But I could be wrong about that...

Reading Rediscovered (readingrediscovered) | 876 comments Hello all!
I am planning to read Glass Sword but beyond that, I'm not sure. I didn't even look to see which category that would fit. It's just the next book on my list to read.
I got it from the local library.

Well, Thunderhead couldn’t work for 10 as it doesn’t have 13 letters in the title. Only 11. But that’s good it could work for all the others because I’m doing a buddy read on March 5th for Thunderhead.

Here are 3 books that I’ll absolutely, positively be reading this month:

Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco (could work for 2 or 10, no bonus)
Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman
The Serpent King by Jeff Zentner (could work for 10, no bonus)

[[ Frankie ]] (freedbyfiction) | 474 comments Am I correct about books counting for page points even if they don’t fit a task?

message 32: by Sarah Elizabeth (new)

Sarah Elizabeth (bookworm_sarah) | 90956 comments Mod
Hi Frankie, points will only be given for books which complete descriptions. The only books that can be used for page points are books which are started before March, which we will give points for based on how many pages were read in March (up to a maximum of 3 books per person).

message 33: by [[ Frankie ]] (new)

[[ Frankie ]] (freedbyfiction) | 474 comments Ooohhh. Okay. Thanks, Sarah! Sorry for the confusion. It’s hard to keep up with everything being asked & answered over in the other thread. It gets so hectic over there! I’m not sure how you handle it! LOL!

I'm not sure if HP #4 gets the bonus since it only has one A?

Also Crooked Kingdom wouldn't work for 70 anymore since Leigh did announce that she'd eventually come back to the series for a third book so I moved it to #28
