message 652: by Shae (new)

Shae Petersen | 6964 comments I have finished Saving Axe (Inferno Motorcycle Club, #2) by Sabrina Paige and Help by Simon Amstell

I’m 70% into Rhapsodic (The Bargainer, #1) by Laura Thalassa which I’ll finish today.

Was going to pick up Fire with Fire (Burn for Burn, #2) by Jenny Han on audio, but saw Jackie has started a fire book. I need an audio for today as I’ll be doing house work etc.

What spots are available now?

Shae Petersen | 6964 comments Ok will you make the post here? Like as a recent comment?

message 656: by Shae (new)

Shae Petersen | 6964 comments Did Beatrice say she had started all of them? I guess if we know we will flip, it won’t matter if books are posted for round 2 as they will still count.

message 657: by Shae (new)

Shae Petersen | 6964 comments I’ve posted for both the help and axe one, so they can be taken off what’s left to be done :)

message 658: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16063 comments Sorry I got a call before I could finish the update.

message 659: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16063 comments Beatrice has started Rhapsodic (The Bargainer, #1) by Laura Thalassa and Sinner (Priest, #2) by Sierra Simone .

I know she also said she was really busy so I dont know what we should do with those. I guess maybe read for the other books that are not started?

message 660: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16063 comments I also dont know if Alexia wants to finish Quando as Estrelas Caem by Amie Kaufman

message 661: by Shae (new)

Shae Petersen | 6964 comments Ok I’ll start UnSlut A Diary and a Memoir by Emily Lindin for the title starting with u, no bonus. It’s an audio so I’ll listen as I do some jobs today.

If we hear back from Alexia about the face to face, ill start second rosemary beach for eight in series and you can swap your falling too far to face to face Courtney?

Okay. Hopefully we can flip the board. I know Jacquelyn and Alexia both have 2 to 3 reviews to post so that should help us out. Do you want to use your Rhapsodic (The Bargainer, #1) by Laura Thalassa for 11 and move Beatrice to the PASS description if yoy finish it first? That way we can get the compeltion bonus.

Yes I can do that. We just have to remind Beatrice when she finishes to post for pass 👍🏼

Jacquelyn Simon (jacquelynrose94) | 2166 comments I’ve been dreading writing my reviews, but I can go ahead and write them. I’m about 75% through Thunderhead.

And I’m debating on which book to read for fire.
Either Playing with Fire (Tales of an Extraordinary Girl, #1) by Gena Showalter or Firefight (The Reckoners, #2) by Brandon Sanderson

message 665: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16063 comments Who-hoo finished Out of the Ashes (The Legacy Chronicles, #1) by Pittacus Lore !

message 666: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16063 comments I got a little under 5 hours left of my current read so I am hoping to get some of that knocked out before I go to bed.

message 667: by Jacquelyn (new)

Jacquelyn Simon (jacquelynrose94) | 2166 comments @Courtney, woo! Good job!

I’m updating on the Thunderhead br thread as well.

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) Ladies, feel free to fill in my entries. I'm not sure when I can finish a book before the challenge ends. I'll probably have my last entry if ever. I've been busy with work. :( I'm sorry for not being active here.

message 670: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16063 comments Also if no one can find a book for 70. We can move Our Dark Duet (Monsters of Verity, #2) by Victoria Schwab to it.

Jacquelyn Simon (jacquelynrose94) | 2166 comments So I posted Poison Study (Study, #1) by Maria V. Snyder

I still need to post Beautiful Disaster (Beautiful, #1) by Jamie McGuire Thunderhead (Arc of a Scythe, #2) by Neal Shusterman

message 674: by Jacquelyn (new)

Jacquelyn Simon (jacquelynrose94) | 2166 comments Also, I decided on Firefight (The Reckoners, #2) by Brandon Sanderson
I can’t turn down a book narrated by Macleod Andrews. He’s my favorite (plus he’s from my hometown)

message 675: by Shae (last edited Mar 27, 2019 11:07PM) (new)

Shae Petersen | 6964 comments Finished rhapsodic and posted.
40% through UnSlut A Diary and a Memoir by Emily Lindin

message 679: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16063 comments Im 42% through with Wrath of the Dragon King. Hoping to finish it tomorrow.

message 680: by Alex (new)

Alex (lovingthevillain) | 136 comments It really nice of you guys but don‘t worry, I only have 150 pages left of These Broken Stars. I‘m also almost done with White Cat and I will read the rest of both during the weekend.

I think I will manage to read another book but I‘m a bit confused about which spots are still open?

Oh and I read Dance of Thieves yesterday but I don‘t think there is a spot for it open.

message 681: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16063 comments We are trying to flip the board so we will be able to fit those books if we do. Right now we only need a book for book 70. All the other spots are the currently read books or booms that just need to be posted.

message 682: by Courtney (last edited Mar 28, 2019 11:50AM) (new)

Courtney | 16063 comments Do you think Sarah will approve that a sword can be thrown? If so we can put Shae's Son by Lois Lowry in spot 70, and Alexia's Dance of Thieves (Dance of Thieves, #1) by Mary E. Pearson in its spot.

message 683: by Jacquelyn (new)

Jacquelyn Simon (jacquelynrose94) | 2166 comments I’m almost done with Firefight (The Reckoners, #2) by Brandon Sanderson I don’t have any thing planned to read after it. 😬

message 684: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16063 comments If we can find a book with a chair on the cover we can move Shae's Son review to 70 and put the chair one in its place for bonus points.

Other then that we can start for round two and hope the books that are left in round one are posted in time to post books for round two.

Are you still reading final empire for spot 8, or is that spot free?

I believe she said she finished it. We are just waiting for her to post it.

message 692: by Shae (new)

Shae Petersen | 6964 comments Oh ok, so what books are finished but just waiting to post?

So are we just reading for round 2 now?

message 693: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16063 comments She has finished both These Rebel Waves (Stream Raiders, #1) by Sara Raasch and The Final Empire (Mistborn, #1) by Brandon Sanderson according to post 623. We are just waiting for the reviews to be written.

For Alexia: These Rebel Waves (Stream Raiders, #1) by Sara Raasch and The Final Empire (Mistborn, #1) by Brandon Sanderson

For Jacquelyn: Thunderhead (Arc of a Scythe, #2) by Neal Shusterman and Beautiful Disaster (Beautiful, #1) by Jamie McGuire

message 695: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 16063 comments I know we still got to figure out what we are doing for 70. I dont know if we wanna use your Son book or find another book for it.

message 696: by Shae (new)

Shae Petersen | 6964 comments So is swapping my son, then finding a book with a chair on the cover all we need?

And once those posts are up (the books you mentioned if Jackie’s and Alexia’s), all the other books are going to be finished before the end of the month? Like we have heard from everyone that they will be done?

message 697: by Alex (new)

Alex (lovingthevillain) | 136 comments I already read The Final Empire (Mistborn, #1) by Brandon Sanderson and These Rebel Waves (Stream Raiders, #1) by Sara Raasch and I‘m posting the reviews soon. Sorry for not saying this earlier but I like writting my reviews a few days after I‘m done reading.

Anyways, I will check my booksehlf for 70 tomorrow but I‘m pretty sure that I have nothing that will fit.

Oh, and I will 100 percent be done with my whole TBR by Sunday, you can count on that.

Pretty much. It will probably be easier then to look for a book that is last in the series. The chaor is just the bonus it can be anything that can be thrown.
