Please help me combine appropriately! New cover made a mess of things, got that straightened out, now a new ISBN I had to purchase is showing yet ANOTHER paperback edition (with a GR phantom cover)...they're all the same book.

The editions are all combined. Each different ISBN/ASIN is a different edition, and GR also differentiates between different covers, even if they have the same ISBN/ASIN.
How do I add the correct photo of my book with the new ISBN, rather than the gray blank showing? Or is the gray blank the old ISBN that is no longer in use? Thank you!
Well, I'm not sure where you're seeing a gray cover. All the editions of this book have a color cover:https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...
There are currently three paperback editions and two kindle editions. Can you please link to the edition that you see as gray?

No problem! It can occasionally take some time for a cover to show properly on your author dashboard.
