Yikes, is it just me? I totally forgot how LOOOOONG these chapters are

I used to live in Oregon so, before I moved, I made a trip up to Forks. It's great reading this now and picturing the spots in Forks where she got inspiration.
I also went to all the spots in Oregon where the movie was actually filmed, so I have those spots in my head too, as they describe the school and the sporting goods store!

Now my Edward has never been the actor who was in the movie
so I picture him different
but I still hear the tortured brooding strain in his voice
I don't find him creepy or demeaning or anything yet (hide spoiler)]

Bella (view spoiler)[ Okay, I do think it's weird that she's instantly taken up cooking AND cleaning after
but Charlie seems so helpless. lol I think it would be easy to fall into that routine (although I'd hope if she cooked he'd clean!!) (hide spoiler)]

I love Angela. I forgot how shy she was.
LOL I loved the actress who played Jessica, so I picture her now - which cracks me up! she is so funny! (hide spoiler)]

It's kind of nice to take the reading slow
I remember the first time I read it, I read it in just a few short hours with no stopping. I'm still loving it as much as I did the first time. :)

Edward (view spoiler)[ I do love edward, he is a great character but my heart belongs to Emmett :D definitely mg favourite character in the series although I'm not yet up to parts with him in yet other than in the school cafeteria! (hide spoiler)]

55% - (view spoiler)[I am enjoying this book much more than I did with the movie. I want to know when Bella is going to meet Edward's family. I want to get to the end already, this book is pretty long and drags a little but i think i can finish by today. (hide spoiler)]

78% - (view spoiler)[Wow. I vaguely remember the ending from the movie but I am excited to see how this goes from the book. I feel so terrible for Bella, it must be tragic for her to have to leave her father like that. I am so pissed at James, why does he have to ruin everything? All this because of him. I cannot believe it. I cannot wait to see how this book ends. (hide spoiler)]

86% - (view spoiler)[I cannot believe it happened that way, I have to say that I enjoyed this scene much better in the movie but I thought it was really great nonetheless. I am confused on how they couldn't find her scent faster though, how they didn't realize she was no longer in the airport it must have taken them a few minutes but I was surprised on how easily she got away. I didn't expect that to be how Alice was made into a vampire, I don't even remember that from the movie. Just two more chapters and I finish the book. (hide spoiler)]

Final Thoughts - (view spoiler)[Aw that ending was adorable. I pictures Jacob older than Bella for some reason, I cannot wait for the next book. I really enjoyed this one. I am still debating whether to give this book 4 or 5 stars. Alice is still by far my favorite character in this book, I love Bella but Alice is amazing. As I said, I cannot wait for the next book. I am glad that this series has been done for awhile because no one has them on hold in my library and they are all there! I don't remember much from the movie of New Moon but I can say that I am really intrigued to get to it. I didn't expect it to be prom already at the end. I thought the ending was adorable, I can see why Edward does not want to turn Bella into a vampire but I do want her to become one. (hide spoiler)]
