I sense that's what's gonna be proven true in the end.

Do you think it's fair to say, Iain, that the human brain (or at least human consciousness) might be a type or technology or organic technology? Or is there some other description you can think of that's the equivalent.

For me, this is the interesting parallel subject that interlinks with future tech subjects: what is human consciousness and how much more can humans do with their brains? And can it ever be replicated by non-human creations?

This may be the surprise or Trojan horse in the whole singularity prediction.

Mercola is an intriguing doctor.

And hopefully a way to move beyond the drugs/surgery paradigm.

James Morcan | 11370 comments Scientists use quantum computer to predict the future https://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/nati...

Accurately predicting the weather and even the stock market could be on the cards as scientists use quantum computing to predict the future.

Researchers from Queensland’s Griffith University and Singapore's Nanyang Technological University have collaborated to develop a quantum device which can accurately measure possible futures for a set system.

In this case that means tracking the movement of photons - single particles of light - through the system and measuring the outcomes.

Griffith researcher Nora Tischler said while that did not sound impressive in itself, it was a major development in quantum computing with profound implications.

Now there was a quantum effect! That cat, by my calculation, is over 80 years old. Which raises the question, why did Erwin decide to di?
