So i read this book/story in literature class in the late 90s. Its told from the first person, its a man telling the story. The society has found a way to age to a certain point, I think about 30, then they will regress in age to young children. To offset overpopulation they start to kill off those who have aged backwards into children. The man tells the story knowing he's going to die and dealing with it at different emotional stages as he ages backwards.
