I'm looking for a CP or beta swap for a Time Travel Romance (?) Actually, I'm not certain that's what it is, as it defies some of the genre expectations. If you require happy ever after, a swashbuckling historic love interest, and steamy romantic interludes, this probably won't interest you.
One beta reader described it as having "The romance of The Time Traveler's Wife and the musical passion of The Red Violin." It doesn't deserve such high praise, but I'll take it :)
There's also a fair amount of Paranormal: (clones with unusual powers)
Complete at 98,000 words first book of three (also complete), mostly stands alone first person sex: none violence: some A bit dark in places, but the overall tone is not.
It has been through quite a few beta reads and revisions. I prefer working in google docs and am happy to give in-line comments, as well as a summary of my thoughts on the story after every chapter or two. Looking for someone who will do the same. I read most genres, no erotica please.
and here's the blurb-
Joya's world has (almost) no music. Angelo carries all the music from a lost world in his head.
When a vagrant musician is accused of a crime, only Joya Day stands up for him, even though it means antagonizing the council and risking another visit from the mental health committee.
He could have at least said thank you, but Angelo refuses to tell her where he came from or anything else about himself. His reticence drives Joya to dig deeper and find out what he is hiding.
Meanwhile, at a defunct human cloning facility, the only remaining outpost of Angelo's world, the last group of clones works tirelessly to repair the timeline and restore history.
If they succeed, Joya's world will no longer exist.
