ABANDONED. Fantasy/Fiction about a boy that doesn't stop growing and becomes bed bound.

I read a book around 2010/2011 from a Library that I moved away from and no longer has my records... and after some searching online I still can't find it.

It's a fiction book, it was about a boy, who I think had quite a poor upbringing and who was going through adolescence but kept growing and growing so big that he ended up becoming bed bound (it could be that it was just his feet that kept growing after thinking more on it), and had to have his clothes made for him bespoke... and I think even became lovers with the nurse who was helping him, giving him bed baths and the like.

I really can't remember anything more than that, I know it's not Benjamin Button etc. As google tries to push on to me... I hope one of you out there is able to help me!
