Diane Moseley | 2645 comments Don't Judge! -It is a person's character, not his or her race, gender or culture that matters. You heard the old saying: "Don't judge a book by its cover" -Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. -Matthew 7:1
Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven. -Luke 6:37-DIVINE WORDS BY DIANE.

God's Glorious Plan = Two Judgments and Two Pieces of Wood Removed and Two People Restored to Wholeness!

Matthew 7:1-5

1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye ; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye .

First - Judge yourself and with God's help remove the log from your own eye.

Second - Judge your brother and help him remove the speck from his eye.

God's plan... BOTH pieces of wood are judged and removed.

I agree. The Apostle Paul mentions this in 1 Corinthians 5:12-6:4. His point seems to be to judge matters within the Church regarding believers, not things outside the Church. I think he's talking about matters which affect the behaviors of saints which are interpersonal and negatively reflect on the body of believers; not preferences.

To me it is really awesome how God seeks to have both pieces of wood removed.
