Hi - I have been looking for a book I read years ago. the main characters include a female lead who is an art restorer. If I remember correctly, she is an illegitimate daughter, really down on her luck when she gets a job restoring a piece of art for the main hero who is an aspiring politician. They meet at a party and there is great chemistry but he is engaged to someone else. Does this story line ring a bell for anyone?
